Bill Sleight, O.D.

Dr. Sleight is a native of Orono Maine, where he attended grade school, high school as well as college. Dr Sleight graduated from the University of Maine at Orono with a B.A. in German and Zoology. He attained his Doctorate of Optometry from the New England College of Optometry in 1982 and completed his residency at the VAMC in Vancouver Washington in 1983. Dr. Sleight returned to the New England College of Optometry as a clinical instructor while maintaining a private practice in Waterboro Maine. After affiliating with Associated Eyecare in 2010, he practices part time in Waterboro and has assumed a full time position at the New England College of Optometry in didactic instruction.

Dr. Sleight and his wife Katrina live in Shapleigh Maine along with their four children, Trevor, Leyenda, Yan, and Hannah. He enjoys outdoor sports and coaching youth soccer.
