This is surprising to many people who feel that their routine eyeglass exam is sufficient to protect against the development of glaucoma.
Jess Lewis, O.D.
Dr. Lewis is a native of York, Maine where he
graduated third in his class at York High School. He completed his
undergraduate work at the University of Maine at Orono.
Dr. Lewis attended the New England College of Optometry earning his
Doctor of Optometry in 1979. His clinical rotations included
preceptorships at Rutland Heights Hospital, Huntington General
Hospital, and Dimmock Community Health Center. Dr. Lewis is a member
in good standing of the American Optometric Association.
Drs. Lewis, Lavoie and Vigue founded Associated Eyecare in 1979, and
became the first practice in the area to offer both Optometric and
Ophthalmologic services in one full-service eye care center.
